12 million losses on the purchase of electricity: the head of Kievgorsvet received suspicion

The acting director of Kievgorsvet faces up to five years in prison

During the period from January to March 2022, the official entered into agreements with the company on the supply of electrical energy to consumers. However, later law enforcement officers established that the contract price was significantly higher than its real market value.

In particular, a forensic economic examination confirmed the unreasonably high costs for the purchase of electricity, which led to material damage to the Kyivgorsvet enterprise in the amount of about 12 million hryvnia.

The woman was informed of suspicion of official negligence under Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of removing the 41-year-old official from her position during the investigation is being decided.

The official faces up to five years in prison.
