70 thousand UAH will be paid extra to the military “at zero”: the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution

On April 12, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution according to which military personnel performing combat missions on the front line are provided with increased pay: 70 thousand hryvnia to the basic salary of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters “at zero.”

People's Deputy Alexey Goncharenko reported this on Telegram.

"Good news! The Cabinet of Ministers has just adopted a resolution and increased the military allowance “at zero” by another 70 thousand. With this decision, the government fulfilled the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada, which was adopted yesterday,” the people’s representative noted.

According to Goncharenok, now the military is “at zero”, in addition to a salary of 20-25 thousand and combat bonuses of 100 thousand hryvnia, they have the right to an additional payment of 70 thousand hryvnia.

An additional payment of 70 thousand hryvnia applies to both military personnel and police officers performing combat missions on the first line. This was announced on April 12 by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.

“A one-time reward will be awarded for every 30 days of completing such tasks,” the Prime Minister wrote.

As previously reported, on April 11, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine generally adopted a bill to strengthen mobilization. And although opinions regarding its provisions still cause controversy in the Rada, the law on mobilization will come into force a month after it is signed by the President. Thus, 283 deputies out of 226 required voted for the government draft law No. 10449.
