CertiK account in X became a victim of a hacker attack

The CertiK company account was hacked by hackers. As a result, the attackers published a message about the presence of a vulnerability in the Uniswap Router contract.

The account of the auditing company CertiK on X (formerly Twitter) was subject to a hacker attack. The project team confirmed the hack by publishing a warning on the CertiK Alert page.

“We are currently investigating the compromise of our X account. Please do not interact with any messages until we confirm it is safe,” the note reads.

However, the attackers still managed to publish fake information about the exploit in Uniswap Router. They also added a phishing link to the Revoke Cash website.
