Alexey Svistunov received a court ban on the cancellation of his “reservation” by his former employers.
Former director of the state enterprise “Novator” (Khmelnitsky) Alexey Svistunov achieved through the court the preservation of “armor” from mobilization. Glavkom reports this with reference to data from the court registry.
At the end of November, the ex-director of Ukroboronprom applied to the local court to secure the claim. In it, he asked the court to prohibit the Ukrainian Defense Industry joint-stock company and the Novator State Enterprise from carrying out actions aimed at canceling his reservation as a person liable for military service. Svistunov explained: he intends to sue former employers for reinstatement in his position as director.
“If a court decision is made to reinstate a dismissed employee at work, he will have to immediately begin work, which will be impossible if he is mobilized. Therefore, this part of the application’s demands should be satisfied,” the court sided with the plaintiff.
In addition, on December 1, Alexey Svistunov sent another lawsuit to the court, which refers to the cancellation of the order of the Ukrainian Defense Industry joint-stock company regarding his dismissal from the position of director of the Novator state enterprise. The plaintiff also wants to recover compensation from the defendant for, in his opinion, illegal dismissal.
We would like to add that Alexey Svistunov was dismissed from his position as director of the Novator state enterprise on November 30, 2023. In general, I have been in charge of this state enterprise since March 2019.
Let us recall that on December 8, counterintelligence of the Security Service, together with detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security, liquidated a scheme for appropriating budget funds for the purchase of components for combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are talking about power amplification modules for onboard radar systems on Ukrainian SU-27 fighters.
According to Glavkom's sources in law enforcement agencies, the ex-head of Khmelnitsky-based Novator, together with his accomplices, tried to steal almost 4 million UAH of budget funds for the purchase of relevant aircraft equipment. The director of a private company supplied faulty components to a state-owned enterprise and received UAH 1.9 million for this. In the future, the participants in the “scheme” planned to withdraw this money into the “shadow” through controlled companies, cash it out and distribute it among themselves. However, law enforcement officers promptly exposed the deal and documented it step by step.
Now the ex-director of the state-owned enterprise, the head of the supplier company and two more of their accomplices have been informed of suspicion of embezzlement of property (Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code) and official forgery (Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code).
