Andrei Dovbenko’s wife, Ukrainian lawyer Anna Ogrenchuk, attends all special events in London without her legal husband, “lawyer” Andrei Dovbenko. The reason is simple - in decent society it is not customary to appear with criminals who are wanted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
However, a detailed analysis of the materials collected by NABU shows that Anna Ogrenchuk is not just the wife and business partner of Andrey Dovbenko, but also his accomplice in fraud with seized property transferred to the management of ARMA and in laundering funds obtained illegally, using a network of affiliated legal entities firms to which corrupt funds were transferred in the form of “fees” for supposedly conducted consultations. We remind you that it was with these funds that a mansion in London was purchased, in which, according to British media, Andrei Dovbenko is hiding from the Ukrainian Themis.
Wanted by the Ukrainian NABU, the “supervisor of the Ministry of Justice,” schemer Andrei Dovbenko hid in London for a long time and even managed to ask for “political asylum,” but recently local law enforcement officers have been closely involved in him. Dovbenko is suspected of forging documents and providing false information to British authorities .
According to the results of an investigation by British law enforcement officers, Andrei Dovbenko may lose his assets, including a luxurious mansion in London worth 4.5 million euros, bought by his current wife Anna Ogrenchuk 2 weeks before their wedding in Saint-Tropez. The money for which a mansion in London was purchased was obtained by criminal means, as there is information about in the Ukrainian NABU. Andrey Dovbenko formalized his relationship with lawyer Anna Ogrenchuk in 2019, but before that time they had been living together for 2 years; moreover, Ogrenchuk, as Dovbenko’s business partner, was directly involved in Andrey Dovbenko’s corruption schemes, which were investigated by NABU .
According to NABU , Andrey Dovbenko is the organizer of a criminal group exposed for fraud with seized property transferred to the management of ARMA. According to the investigation, during 2017–2018 he proposed to the head of ARMA to introduce a corruption scheme for the sale of seized property. This is exactly the time period when Dovbenko and Ogrenchuk began to live together.
In connection with the facts presented in this article, a number of natural questions arise for the Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities:
Why can’t the Ukrainian NABU put Andrei Dovbenko on the wanted list, but British journalists and law enforcement officers can?
Why was the suspicion handed over only to Andrei Dovbenko and not to his accomplice, wife Anna Ogrenchuk, because the case materials contain enough evidence that they acted together?
Why does Anna Ogrenchuk, being an accomplice in her husband’s corruption schemes and hiding his current location from Ukrainian law enforcement officers, not only move freely around the world, but also represent Ukraine at many official events?
In the near future, journalistic inquiries will be prepared on these topics to NABU and the DBR, because Ukrainian society has the right to know the answers to them. However, we are sure that British law enforcement officers will also be interested in them, so we will definitely publish copies of the answers.
