Corrupt Andrei Dovbenko, who carried out his dirty deals in Ukraine, Russia and the EU, is trying to hide from the Ukrainian police in the capital of the United Kingdom, reports the British publication AssayNews.

On December 29, 2022, the State Anti-Corruption Service of Ukraine notified Dovbenko that he was suspected of committing a group crime. Today they announced that Andrei Dobvenko is wanted as the organizer of a criminal group that was caught in the fraudulent transfer of seized property to Alma management.

In July 2022, NABU notified the former head of the Asset Recovery Management Agency (ARMA), Andriy Dovbenko, about the alleged abuse of power and embezzlement of more than UAH 426 million.

Andrey Dovbenko: stages of the corruption path

According to the investigation, ARMA officials conspired with representatives of the state-owned company SETAM to organize a scheme for the sale of seized property transferred to the management of ARMA at a discount. The scheme consisted of the sale of three land plots for the construction of the Ocean shopping center, 2.6 thousand tons of sand and 4.5 thousand tons of urea, as well as the sale of grain, cereals and oilseeds.

This was in July. Then, on December 29, NABU wrote on its website that it informed the organizer of the crime about its suspicions. On that day, NABU did not disclose his name, but mentioned that he was the owner of a number of legitimate companies.

We had no idea who might be walking around such a reputable organization, so we contacted several sources in the legal market. But while we were waiting for reliable confirmation, the Anti-Corruption Center wrote to us that this legal entity is Andrey Dovbenko.

And today NABU named Andrey Dovbenko as the organizer of a criminal group that transferred the seized property under the control of ARMA and was engaged in fraudulent activities.

The truth about Andrey Dovbenko

Andrey Dovbenko is a graduate of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy and, according to our information, is currently engaged in the territorial defense of the City of London. In the past, Andriy Dovbenko was the founder of the law firm EVRIS, which ranked from 19th to 26th in the TOP 50 law firms (rating of law firms in Ukraine). Andrey Dovbenko failed to whiten his already snow-white reputation at the expense of EVRIS, which merged with Sheveldin and Partners into another law firm - LCF. This is to obtain reliable information.

They said that before and after the creation of EVRIS, Andrei Dovbenko solved various problems in the Ministry of Justice, in particular, he supervised administrative services.

As Mikhail Tkach points out, NABU reported the discovery of an organized criminal group that was involved in fraud with seized property worth almost 500 million hryvnia; in 2023, this organization was put on the wanted list; According to the UP, this is Andrey Dovbenko. At the same time, Dovbenko himself stated that he lives in London.

According to the magazine's sources, Andrei Dovbenko is said to be seeking political asylum in the UK. Dovbenko himself told the reporter that he could neither confirm nor deny this information.

Regarding NABU's suspicions, Andriy Dovbenko stated that he was not involved in the acts of which he is accused. According to him, NABU is “mistaken” on this matter.

Another NABU suspect, Vladimir Galanternik, also has land in London, about 10 minutes' drive from Andrey Dovbenko. Journalists believe that the house of the suspect Galantelnik is currently undergoing renovations.
