The Court of Appeal left Tishchenko under 24-hour house arrest

Tishchenko filed an appeal against the decision of the Pechersky District Court regarding round-the-clock house arrest

The Kiev Court of Appeal today, July 3, left MP Nikolai Tishchenko under house arrest. A hromadske correspondent reported this from the courtroom.

In particular, Tishchenko tried to appeal the preventive measure that was chosen for him on June 25 after a conflict with an ex-soldier in the Dnieper.

As “Glavkom” reported, on June 25, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for people’s deputy Nikolai Tishchenko, who in the morning was served with suspicion by SBI investigators for the illegal imprisonment of a former serviceman in the Dnieper.

According to the court decision, Tishchenko must be under round-the-clock house arrest for two months. Also, the people's deputy must wear an electronic bracelet and surrender his passport. A politician is prohibited from leaving the locality in which he is registered, lives or is located, without the permission of an investigator, prosecutor or court.

House arrest against Tishchenko is valid until August 23, 2024.

Previously, the current People's Deputy of Ukraine Nikolai Tishchenko was informed of suspicion due to the illegal imprisonment of a former serviceman in the Dnieper. During a search in the apartment of MP Nikolai Tishchenko, he smashed his mobile phone on the table and refused to explain the reasons for this decision in court.

It should be noted that the police reported that two criminal proceedings were opened in connection with the fight in the center of the Dnieper.

People's Deputy Nikolai Tishchenko previously commented on the incident that occurred in Dnepr involving people in military uniform and former Kraken special forces soldier Dmitry “Son” Pavlov. He stated that the military man “is the head of security at the bot farm” and “together with his guys approached the place where the investigative actions were being carried out and provoked the policeman.”

As reported, non-factional MP Nikolai Tishchenko, who is suspected of illegally imprisoning former Kraken soldier Dmitry Pavlov, filed an appeal against the decision of the Pechersky District Court on round-the-clock house arrest.
