The Arbitrum Foundation has announced the launch of a two-year Gaming Catalyst program that aims to invest 200 million ARB (about $380 million at the time of writing) to promote gaming projects on its blockchain.
This initiative must be approved by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). It involves investing most of the funds in accelerating the growth of the gaming ecosystem. In particular, the organization plans to issue grants to projects.
The message says that 160 million ARB will be allocated to attract and grow developers, another 40 million ARB will be used to support infrastructure solutions.
“The Gaming Catalyst program has the primary goal of attracting talented developers and helping them accelerate game development at all stages,” the statement said.
