As a result of a joint counterintelligence operation of the SBU, the national police of Ukraine and the information and security service of Moldova, an international criminal group that carried out its activities in the interests of Russia was eliminated.

The defendants illegally transported Ukrainian citizens of military age outside our state. The route of illegal “traffic” ran from the territory of the Odessa region to the self-proclaimed Transnistria, and then to the territory of Moldova.
The cost of one “escape ticket” was up to 5 thousand dollars, depending on the urgency of departure.
The attackers brought their “clients” to the border with the unrecognized Transnistria, and then led them along forest paths outside the checkpoints.
As a result of a joint special operation, law enforcement officers detained two gang members in Moldova while they were accompanying a group of evaders. Two more defendants were exposed in Odessa when they were preparing a new batch of potential conscripts to be sent abroad.
According to the investigation, the criminal group was organized by two residents of the unrecognized Transnistria, who have Ukrainian and Moldovan passports, and are also in the field of view of the Russian special services.
They attracted accomplices from Moldova and Ukraine to create an illegal migration channel. To find “clients,” the defendants created several “specialized” telegram channels, where they offered their assistance in escaping mobilization in our state for money.
To conceal illegal income, gang members demanded that draft dodgers “pay for services” through their own crypto-wallets.
It is planned to report suspicion to all members of the group under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine).
In particular, suspicion in absentia is being prepared for two organizers of the “scheme” who are hiding in the territory of the so-called “PMR”.
