Businessman Vyacheslav Lysenko – Illegal casino and “office workers”

Businessman Vyacheslav Lysenko got into a scandal with the organization of an illegal casino and a fraudulent call center. After the searches, a pre-trial investigation was launched, according to which the culprits face 3 to 8 years in prison. So the analysts looked into the details of the case, and also asked how Lysenko makes money and how he lives.

On April 30, law enforcement officers of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security, together with other law enforcement agencies, uncovered illegal activities in one of the capital’s business centers. The activity consisted of the operation of an illegal casino, which conducted poker gambling for money without the appropriate licenses and a fraudulent call center, where Ukrainians and citizens of Germany and the Czech Republic were deceived.

As reported on the BEB website, detectives conducted a series of searches at addresses associated with the location of the casino and the place of residence of persons involved in criminal proceedings. As a result of searches in the gambling establishment, poker equipment, computer equipment, accounting documents, and video cameras with recordings of casino visits were discovered and confiscated. As well as envelopes with cash, probably intended to give rewards to players.

During a search in the house of one of the suspects, almost $135 thousand and about €5 thousand in cash were discovered and seized, the origin of which the owner could not explain.

According to investigators' findings, the call center's job was to make phone calls to potential victims and invite them to invest in software that was said to automatically trade cryptocurrencies, generating 5% profit daily. After the victims transferred funds to the center’s virtual accounts, they were blocked.

BEB detectives began, first of all, a pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code - fraud committed on a large scale, which provides for imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years.

According to information from open sources in this case, searches were also carried out in the building of the CEO Club, owned by Lysenko.

By the way, as colleagues from “Babel” report, Lysenko did not answer their call in order to refute the information. However, on his Instagram page he wrote a whole post about how an entire campaign was ordered against him. Although the bureau claims that they monitored Lysenko for 8 months.

In his defense, Sergei Gaidachuk also wrote on Facebook about the pressure on business circles from law enforcement officials. And at the end of this petition, for some reason, Lysenko began to actively defend him.

“Also my comment on Vyacheslav Lysenko. Vyacheslav is one of the many co-owners of the club, a member of the club for many years. This is an entrepreneur who has actively supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014, pays millions in taxes and donations, and systematically and publicly advocates for improving the country’s business climate. We are carefully observing the legality of the consideration of the case; in the event of any illegal actions, the club will protect Vyacheslav, as well as every member of the club,” wrote the president of CEO Club Ukraine Sergei Gaidaichuk

Open sources say that Lysenko has already left abroad

What is known about businessman Lysenko

Lysenko began his career as a professional swimmer and in 1989 became the USSR champion in naval all-around. And from 1989 to 1992 he worked as a coach, preparing young athletes for competitions. However, in the 90s he left the sport and took up entrepreneurial activity.

In his homeland, in Cherkassy, the businessman started with barter agreements, was engaged in the trade of petroleum products, parquet production, logistics and the sale of fertilizers.

In 2000, Vyacheslav moved to Kyiv and here he chose a new direction in his work - trade with China. And in 2004 he founded the company “Ukr-China Communications”. Initially, Vyacheslav Lysenko was engaged in comprehensive services for the delivery of goods from the People's Republic of China. He was responsible for customs clearance and represented the interests of Ukrainian partners in China.

According to open registers, Vyacheslav Lysenko is the ultimate beneficiary of Central Real Estate LLC, which for 2023 showed net profit in the red with assets of UAH 22 million.

So, like “self-respecting companies”, the beneficiary in this company is an enterprise registered in Cyprus, namely “FERLANKO HOLDING LIMITED”, the beneficiary of which is Lysenko. Where does the big “negative income” that Gaidaichuk talks about go there?

He is one of the founders of “SEO CLUB” and “YOUNG BUSINESS CLUB”. The last of them also recently got into a scandal. Indeed, during the forum, the military asked Azov’s patronage service to “sit somewhere in the corner,” since young businessmen were allegedly “scared by the military uniform.” It’s not clear how people who position themselves as volunteers can be intimidated by a military uniform?

Until 2021, Vyacheslav Lysenko was also the founder and beneficial owner of the SKYWELL SOFTWARE company.

So, in 2020, this company has assets worth UAH 8,932,000. without an officially registered employee, as financial statements on Opendatabot show, she earned UAH 825,000.

Vyacheslav Lysenko is the director and owner of SLAV INVEST LLC, which provides consulting on commercial activities and management.

The businessman is also the founder of the UkrChina Communications group of companies and a member of the Ukrainian Business Council. Today, the owners of this company are “UKR-CHINEA.COM LIMITED” (People's Republic of China) and Arkady Murachev (Israel).

Not very convenient transportation from Meest China

Being interested in the business and reputation of Vyacheslav Lysenko, we decided to look at the reviews page of the Meest China company, of which the businessman is a shareholder. And reviews of the company's activities are not entirely pleasant. Customers complain about the staff themselves, the long time it takes to send parcels, markups on weight and other problems during delivery.

By the way, it turns out very interesting. On the “UA” review site for this company, users gave it a rating of 3.4.

But the company on its own website rated the work as 4.5 out of 5.

Family and income are a private matter

Vyacheslav Lysenko himself is not positioned as a scandalous businessman. However, he does not advertise his private life. It is known that he is married and has two children. However, there is no photo of his family on his personal pages on social networks.

Wife Victoria Lysenko is the founder and director of the Victoria Museum of Costume and Style.

As for the businessman’s children, one of them probably also works in the fashion industry, since Victoria shares a photo of her son’s brand shirt on her Facebook page.

According to insider information, Vyacheslav Lysenko is included in large influential circles. He travels by Robinson helicopter, lives in Koncha-Zaspa and rides a Maybach, and also loves Japanese culture.

By the way, you won’t find Lysenko’s declaration either, because he never filed one, since he was not a government official. So it is impossible to find out about the businessman’s condition from official sources.

StopCor analysts are also trying to get a comment from Vyacheslav Lysenko and Sergei Gaidachuk so far to no avail, but we will keep our finger on the pulse of events.
