The Zhytomyr hospital is planned to be reconstructed for 361 million hryvnia. But in the project itself, connections were found with the scandalous Roman Grinkevich, who was detained as part of a criminal case for the supply of low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
However, this turned out to be not the only nuance in the case. “Our Money” said that the cost of materials was inflated.
At the end of December, the Department of Regional Development of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration ordered LLC “Management Company “Comfort-Bud” for more than 360 million hryvnia. The designer of the reconstruction was the company Stroitelny Alliance Montazhproekt LLC, owned by Roman Grinkevich.
After this, a positive expert report from the State Enterprise “Western Expert and Technical Center” of the State Labor Service.
Overpriced materials
A quarter of the amount of 92 million hryvnia goes to material resources. The largest sums will be spent on doors, windows and suspended ceilings, but detailed characteristics are unknown. Zhitomir.Info journalists found out that solid ordinary bricks were taken into account at a cost of 10.45 hryvnia per piece. While in the recent tender they were taken into account for 8.40 UAH/piece, and in Epicenter the same one costs only 7.90 UAH/piece.
Reinforcing steel class A-500 (diameter 10 mm) was considered at a cost of 39,324 UAH/t. But the Iron World company sells it at 27,800 UAH/t, and Metinvest-SMC – at 30,240 UAH/t. This is 29% and 23% cheaper than the estimate.
