The situation on the battlefields of the Russian-Ukrainian war is now difficult, but not critical.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with the French publication Liberation.
“It’s bad (the situation at the front - ed.), but not critical. Indeed, there are not enough shells, and there are objective reasons for this. We have been waging a high-intensity war for two years now,” Budanov said when asked whether the situation on the battlefield is really critical in terms of the supply of weapons and ammunition.
At the same time, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that the war is not on the verge of using weapons of mass destruction. However, everything else - from submarines to strategic aviation - has been in use for a long time.
