The ex-chairman of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Vsevolod Knyazev divided property with his ex-wife. Before this, all of Knyazev’s property and accounts were seized by the Ministry of Justice
This is evidenced by the resolution of the Central District Court of Nikolaev dated April 26
It is noted that the claim for division of property was filed by Knyazev’s ex-wife. The document does not disclose the names of the defendants, but from the details of the case it follows that we are talking specifically about Knyazev and his family.
The Knyazevs divorced on February 16, 2024 in the Central District Court of Nikolaev. The couple has two children - a daughter and a son.
The woman asked to divide their property, leaving her ownership of 2/3 of the part. In her justification, she indicated that the children live with her, and her son needs constant treatment.
She also indicated that the criminal prosecution against the ex-spouse “indicates the uncertainty of the time when his financial and property situation will be restored to the state that existed before the initiation of the criminal case.”
However, the court decided to divide the property of the spouses based on the equality of the shares of the spouses (one share for each). In particular, Knyazev’s ex-wife was left with ownership of a residential building, $52,300
