Vasilina Sofranyuk, who works in the Lviv Regional Council and was once at the center of a scandal over a pass to enter the pedestrian Rynok Square, again gave rise to conversation.
This time she showed off a new car – a luxurious 2014 Porsche Cayenne, worth about 24 thousand dollars.
And everything would be fine, but Vasilina’s annual earnings in 2023 were only 128 thousand hryvnia, which looks a little strange, given the price of the car.
On August 23, Vasilina already got behind the wheel of her Porsche. The car was brought from abroad and registered in Ukraine only in July. According to the documents, the car is registered to Vasilisa’s 62-year-old father, Ivan Fedyuk, who lives in Zhovkva and, as it turns out, does not run any business.
Journalists claim that the real owner of the car is Vasilisa herself, because she regularly drives it to work and parks it at the regional council.
Sofranyuk did not hide the fact of owning the car, but stated that she had not yet declared it, since only a couple of weeks had passed. She promised that she would show everything on time.
But the Porsche Cayenne is not Vasilina’s only car in recent years. In July 2022, she already bought a Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 for 584 thousand hryvnia. Moreover, the average market price for such a car was higher - about 20 thousand dollars. And here the question arises: how can you afford such purchases with a salary of 270 thousand hryvnia for the entire 2022?
In addition, Vasilina kept the mirror plates from her old car and now they are on her new Porsche.
It is worth remembering that Vasilina previously became famous after she boasted of a pass to Rynok Square, given to her by the former head of the Lviv patrol police, Roman Pilipenko. The scandal then led to Pilipenko losing his position and being transferred to the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
