The price of Brent oil approached $75 per barrel

Prices for Brent and WTI crude oil continue to fall due to Saudi Arabia's decision to reduce prices for February supplies.

The decision was announced on January 7 due to declining demand in the global market.

According to trading data on the London ICE Futures exchange, the price of March futures for Brent at 17:05 Kyiv time was $75.38 per barrel. Compared to the close of the previous session, the price decreased by 4.29%.

The price of a barrel of WTI has so far stopped at $70.26 (-4.81%).

Analysts at Goldman Sachs predict that Brent oil prices will range from $70 to $90 per barrel in 2024. Previously, they expected prices to fluctuate in the range of $80-100 per barrel.
