Verkhovna Rada deputy for Volyn Igor Palitsa, known for his rare attendance at meetings, earned significant sums in 2023, despite appearing in parliament only once. His fortune has increased 12 times compared to last year.
Palitsa declared dividends and salary , although he actively worked in the Rada for only one day. In his declaration, he indicates income from business and dividends, as well as a salary of 584 thousand hryvnia, which he received until September 2023.
After this, they stopped paying him his salary due to his constant absence from meetings.
Although Palitsa promised to indicate in the declaration his son Zakhar and ex-wife Oksana, who account for most of his business, only his daughter Maria, who lives in Switzerland and has no income, appears in the document.
Palitsa keeps more than 2.7 million hryvnia in bank accounts, of which 1.79 million is in Privat. He holds 440 thousand hryvnia in cash.
Among his valuable property, Palitsa listed three expensive watches, two of which were Audemars Piguet, and one Rolex. He also rents two offices in Lutsk and has an apartment, which his father signed for him, worth 2.7 million hryvnia.
In 2023, Palitsa spent 600 thousand hryvnia on security services, a million on managing the corporate rights of LUK POINT LLC and more than 2.6 million hryvnia on temporary residence. He also paid 250 thousand hryvnia tax on dividends.
In 2022, Igor Palitsa entered the top 100 richest Ukrainians according to Forbes Ukraine, taking 49th place.
