NABU decided to look for those who “leaked” information to journalists
After the publication in the UP of an investigation that the director of NABU Semyon Krivonos gave instructions not to conduct a search in the house of the chairman of the board of Naftogaz, Alexei Chernyshov, the NABU decided to find those who shared information with journalists.
UP journalist Mikhail Tkach reported this.
Tkach's direct speech:
“NABU first began an internal investigation, and now has opened criminal proceedings under Article 387 of the Criminal Code (disclosure of data on operational investigative activities, pre-trial investigation - ed.) on the fact of leaking a search warrant from Chernyshov.”
According to Tkach, NABU under the leadership of Krivonos, instead of starting an internal investigation and finding out what unlawful instructions the bureau director gave, decided to find those who told journalists that he saved Chernyshov from a search.
The journalist noted that personal requests and instructions not to conduct a search are not provided for by law and for committing such actions Krivonos may leave his position or face criminal liability.
