Director of the Administration of River Ports Alexander Kozlovsky was detained for taking a bribe

Kozlovsky was detained while accepting a bribe of $8,500.

This was reported on Friday by the press service of the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development.

Let us note that the ministry does not disclose the name of the detainee, but it is known that the Administration of River Ports has been headed by Alexander Kozlovsky since July 2020.

According to the ministry, the director of the State Enterprise “River Ports Administration” was detained on Thursday, May 2, while receiving unlawful benefits in the amount of $8,500.

This money was paid to Alexander Kozlovsky for concluding an agreement on the operation of hydraulic structures (berths) in the Kyiv region for the organization of recreation areas and the placement of small architectural forms.

“The Ministry emphasizes zero tolerance for corruption by officials, is interested in an objective investigation and in every possible way assists law enforcement agencies in establishing the truth,” the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development said.

Alexander Kozlovsky was declared suspected of receiving unlawful benefits by an official (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The maximum punishment provided for by the article is imprisonment for a term of up to ten years.
