While Ukrainian bloggers actively support Ukrainian culture and language during the war with Russia, one piece of news unexpectedly caused a wave of discussions. It turned out that the daughter of the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Andrei Yermak, Irina Mudra, Karina Shatrova, records a TikTok video to Russian music.
This information was spread by the Telegram channel “Breakfast of the Chimera”, publishing a video where Karina in a pink swimsuit dances to the song of the Azeybazhan artist Jony.
It is interesting that before the war, Jony also performed in Ukraine, but after the start of a full-scale invasion, he chose not to speak out about the conflict, continuing to live and work in Moscow.
The Telegram channel writes that Irina Mudraya herself previously carefully created the image of a patriot, but this image was destroyed after a scandal: recently, together with her husband Pavel Polyarush, she threatened to shoot a Ukrainian military man in the knees.
The scandal erupted after a military man with the call sign “Immortal” said that a drunken Polyarush, head of the NBU Department for Problem Assets, blocked the road and threatened him with a premium weapon.
Polyarush is in a civil marriage with Irina Mudra, who lived in the USA for some time in 2018 and gave birth to her youngest son there. And in March 2024, Zelensky appointed her deputy head of the Office of the President.
Karina’s behavior outraged Ukrainian social media users:
