Fights, drugs and the “left” state: findings from the leaders of the TCC in the Rivne region

The specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Western region, together with the Rivne special prosecutor's office, sent an indictment to the court against the heads of the regional and district territorial centers of recruitment and social support.

The head of the regional TCC and joint venture is accused of using violence against a subordinate, robbery and illegal acquisition of assets whose value exceeds his legal income.

The head of the district TCC and SP was accused of aiding and abetting the use of violence and illegal trafficking in psychotropic substances.

The investigation showed that the regional military commissar physically beat his subordinate in an attempt to extract information about his cooperation with law enforcement agencies. This episode was captured on video by his colleague, the head of the district TCC and SP.

At the same time, it was established that the latter used psychotropic substances and traded them. During the searches, amphetamine, a video recording, assault weapons and other evidence were confiscated. The investigation also revealed the undeclared property of the regional official, including two trucks, land plots and an unfinished hotel at a ski resort. The total amount of illegal enrichment amounted to more than UAH 52 million.

Both defendants, former military men, were stripped of their positions and detained. The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators from the TU SBI in Khmelnitsky with the operational support of the SBI. Let us note that according to the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until his guilt is legally proven by a court decision.
