The chairman of the Brovary district (state) military-civil administration hit 4 pedestrians at the crossing. Vladimir Maibozhenko was drunk.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, whose patrol officers promptly arrived at the scene of the traffic accident. It was the presence of armed law enforcement officers that saved the drunken “green” official from popular lynching.
According to the preliminary investigation, Maibozhenko did not stop at the traffic light and ran into people. As a result, four people received injuries of varying severity; Among the victims was a young child who was hospitalized.
“A test on the Drager device for the driver’s alcohol content showed 2.31 ppm. The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. “Proceedings have already begun under Part 2 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the Kiev Regional Department of the National Police reported.
According to eyewitnesses of the incident, a drunken Maibozhenko got out of the car and began to threaten everyone who was next to him. Obviously, the head of the Brovary R(D) VGA hopes to avoid punishment, since during the attack on people he was dressed in the colors of the “greatest leader of the world.”

This was stated by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
“Such behavior from an official is unacceptable! I appeal to law enforcement officers to give a proper legal assessment of this event as soon as possible. I insist on an objective, impartial investigation and fair punishment. I will keep the situation under personal control,” his message says.
Kravchenko is convinced that this is the only right step after the incident that occurred in Brovary and as a result of which four people were injured. He added that the victims are being provided with all necessary assistance, primarily medical assistance.
Vladimir Maibozhenko headed the Kiev Regional Council from April 20, 2006 to May 14, 2010.
He is the former chairman of the Kyiv regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Association “Fatherland”. In September 2010, for “a gross violation of the Charter and Program of the party in the manner established by the Charter of the VO “Batkivshchyna”, he was expelled from the membership of the VO “Batkivshchyna” and dismissed from the post of chairman of the Kyiv regional organization of the VO “Batkivshchyna”.
From 2011 to 2014, he was director of the organizational and administrative department of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
In September 2015, he headed the Kyiv regional organization of the Political Party Dill. On November 10, 2015, he was elected first deputy chairman of the Kyiv Regional Council of the VII convocation from the Political Party Dill, and remained in this position until May 2019.
