News appeared on social networks that the former head of Lviv customs Oleg Shakhrai became the owner, albeit not directly, but of a very “modest car.” We are talking about a car that costs 2.4 million UAH.
In his Telegram channel, journalist Taras Seredich published a video in which the former head of Lviv customs, and now an employee of Kyiv customs, Oleg Shakhrai, gets into a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLC 200, 2022.
In turn, colleagues from the KORDON channel quickly found out that this “modest car” of Oleg Shakhrai belongs to the 83-year-old father of a customs officer. The vehicle was registered on 05/02/2024 using license plates that were previously listed as a Mazda CX-5, also the father’s.
In addition, journalists managed to find the same car at the time when it was placed on the sales site. It was sold for $58,500, which is approximately 2.4 million UAH.
It is worth telling that Oleg Shakhrai headed the Lviv customs from August 2022 to February 17, 2023. Today he is an employee of Kyiv customs.
