Evgenia Yarovaya may be jailed for fraud with shelters

In Kyiv, another person from Vitali Klitschko’s team was exposed for corruption. This is Evgenia Yarovaya, who heads the Education Department of the Shevchenko Regional State Administration. Activist and military man Oleg Simoroz wrote about this on his page on the social network X.

Evgenia Yarovaya has already appeared in criminal proceedings for theft of budget funds from shelters. Now the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office has officially sent to court an indictment for embezzlement of budget funds.

The official is suspected of artificially inflating prices when purchasing dry closets for shelters in educational institutions of the Shevchenko district in the amount of more than 1.38 million hryvnia.

“Yarovaya is a very odious official who is distinguished by extraordinary greed. She steals from literally everything. This includes baby food, textbooks, reconstruction of school football grounds, schemes for leasing communal property to gasket companies, invented non-existent services,” wrote Oleg Simoroz.

In addition, Evgenia Yarovaya is accused of another criminal proceeding. She is suspected of embezzling more than 1 million hryvnia, which were allocated for the construction of shelters in educational institutions.

Oleg Simoroz recalled another scandalous fact about an official from Vitali Klitschko’s team. He noted that in 2014, Evgenia Yarovaya campaigned for the man Viktor Yanukovych - her godfather Viktor Pilipishin.
