FTX and Alameda Research sold off $10.8 million worth of cryptocurrency assets

At the end of November 2023, analysts recorded a new movement of funds in the accounts of FTX and Alameda Research, which amounted to $10.8 million. Since the beginning of October 2023, these companies have transferred more than $551 million to various exchanges.

Analysts recorded the movement of funds in accounts associated with Alameda Research and FTX in the amount of $10.8 million. Eight different crypto assets were deposited on the Binance, Coinbase and Wintermute exchanges, experts from Spot On Chain note.

On November 30, 2023 the following were sold:

  • 10 million GMT;
  • 407,000 UNI;
  • 5.23 million SYN;
  • 8.76 million KLAY;
  • 3.87 million FTM;
  • 77.77 million SHIB.

In addition, FTX and Alameda Research sold a small number of ARB and OP tokens. According to available information, since October 24, 2023, the company has sold a total of over $551 million in crypto assets.

Analysts recorded on November 7-8, 2023. Then experts pointed to the movement of funds in the amount of $100.93 million.

Earlier it became known that FTX received permission to sell assets for $744 million. The Delaware Bankruptcy Court said that FTX Trading and its affiliated debtors can begin liquidating trust assets, including shares in the Grayscale (GBTC) and Bitwise funds.

Let us recall that we wrote that creditors’ claims against the bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange rose to 65 cents per dollar. This figure increased by more than 30% compared to last month.
