The Russian General Staff creates combat battalions using officers, similar to the methods of a century ago

In Russia, attacking detachments are organized, attracting officers, repeating the methods used by the White Guards a hundred years ago.

In particular, Russian Colonel General Mikhail Teplinsky, who commands the Dnepr group, ordered the creation of assault units from officers, as was the case a hundred years ago. The main criteria for such officers are the inability to command subordinates, personal indiscipline and poor motivation. Speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Kovalev stated this during the telethon.

These are some kind of shock battalions, modeled on the White Guard units of the 20s of the last century,” he noted.

It is noted that Teplinsky himself does not enjoy authority among Russian military personnel. His subordinates say that he does not care about the lives of his personnel.

Let us remind you that the Russian invaders are trying to protect themselves from Ukrainian UAVs, so they are building canopies over the trenches from scrap materials. At the same time, the occupiers are covering the trenches even on the sides. The enemy also actively uses the so-called trench electronic warfare.
