The head of the Kyiv police has a house near Kiev with its own access to the water - investigation
Reported by hromadske investigation

Details: It is noted that Anatoly Shchadilo built the luxurious estate in 2014-2017. The start of construction coincided with the victory of Euromaidan, when Shchadylo worked as deputy head of the Volyn region police, Alexander Tereshchuk.

Moreover, as investigators analyzed Shchadilo’s career, the new head of the Kyiv region police was subject to lustration and did not have the right to work in government agencies until October 2024.

According to the policeman’s declaration, Shchadilo bought three plots of almost 50 acres in the village of Protsiv near Kiev at different times for about 300,000 hryvnia. Now, next to the general’s estate, it is simply impossible to buy a bare plot of land for development of 6 acres for less than $20,000.

The only possible explanation for the cheap cost of land is its formal purpose. These are lands for individual or collective gardening, they are not intended for development.

However, hromadske recorded a bathhouse, a boathouse, a guest house, a tennis court, a garage and its own pier on the land of Shchadilo.

Plots began to appear in the ownership of the Shchadilo family from December 2013 to July 2014, at the height of the Revolution of Dignity. At the beginning of 2014, the foundation of the future estate was laid there. It and the rest of the buildings were erected in 2.5 years. In 2016-2017, construction appears to be completed. That is, he had free money to restore all this in a fairly short time.

It is difficult to estimate how much Shchadilo spent on the estate then. Houses that are more similar to such an estate in size and finishing are now offered here for 10-15 million hryvnia, journalists say.

The family of the new head of the Kyiv region police also has 4 apartments in the capital, parking spaces, land plots near Kiev and two boats.
