The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) are preparing a suspicion against the head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal (CAC) Yaroslav Golovachev on corruption charges.
This was reported by a high-ranking source in law enforcement agencies, recalling that in November 2023, NABU and SAPO exposed four judges of the Kiev Court of Appeal for receiving a bribe in the amount of 35 thousand dollars for making the “necessary” decision in the case of canceling the arrest of Motor Sich on the case of the ex-head of the enterprise Vyacheslav Boguslaev.
Probably, those detained for taking a bribe testified about the corrupt actions of the head of the CAS, whose activities have long raised questions among the embassies of Western countries and institutions.
Let us recall that Yaroslav Golovachev took the chair of the head of the CAS under the previous President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, for which, in gratitude, in January 2022 he noted the arrest of the collection of paintings by Petro Alekseevich.
In 2017, Sergei Leshchenko also wrote about Yaroslav Golovachev, known for his close contacts with the “supervisor” of the Ukrainian courts, Alexander Granovsky.
As wrote , in a few years Yaroslav Golovachev and his family became fabulously rich. In addition to many real estate properties and accounts, the judge allegedly bought a luxury villa in Cyprus for $4 million and could obtain citizenship of this country with his family.
In the declaration for 2022, Yaroslav Golovachev hides the value of his property, including his wife Anastasia Golovacheva, who also works in the judicial system.
Also in 2018, journalists wrote that the High Qualifications Commission of Judges (HQJC) did not notice a discrepancy between the declaration of the head of the CAS and the declaration of wealth filed by his father-in-law, Sergei Rybchenko. The income and expenses of Yaroslav Golovachev and his relatives clearly do not add up, which also interested not only journalists, but also detectives from the SAP and NABU.
