The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP), during lifestyle monitoring, identified signs of the acquisition of unjustified assets from the head of the department for combating drug crime of the Main Police Department in Kiev for almost 3.9 million UAH.
According to media reports, we are talking about Alexander Dybov.
The press service of NAPC reports this.
It is noted that in 2022, his wife, having received the right to use and dispose of a Dodge Durango car worth UAH 697 thousand, sold it to her mother-in-law. However, in fact, she continued to use it.
Also in 2023, the employee’s wife, on the basis of a power of attorney from her mother-in-law, acquired a land plot of 0.12 hectares in the Kyiv region worth more than UAH 3 million.
The NAPC found that the savings and total official income of the police officer, his mother and wife are significantly lower than the value of the acquired assets.
The NAPC press service noted that in 2018, the official’s mother also purchased two apartments in Kyiv, although she lives elsewhere.
“In accordance with paragraphs 5-7 of Part 1 of Art. 12 of the Law, the NAPC sent materials regarding the employee to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to resolve the issue of filing a claim in court to recognize the assets, with a total value of UAH 3,878,590, as unfounded and to recover them for state income,” the NAPC added.
