The chief deputy mayor of Varassa was Pavlyshyn, the former head of the RNPP, who was previously accused of murdering his son

Despite the fact that the appointment took place last year, information about it was almost not disseminated in the media. At the same time, the case of his son Evgeniy has been going on for a year and a half, but a final decision has not yet been made.

Pavel Pavlyshyn was the director of the Rivne nuclear power plant for many years and was involved in a number of serious scandals - in particular, the cover-up of his murderer son Evgeniy, who killed an elderly woman, became the first deputy mayor of Varash. However, in a position where he must serve the people, protecting his son is more important. This conclusion can be drawn from the fact that the matter has not moved forward.

The corresponding message about the appointment of Pavlyshyn to the position was published on October 27, 2022 - the decision was made on October 19 at the 24th session of the Varas City Council.

This news, despite its scale, was almost not covered in the regional media of the Rivne region, although more than a year has passed since his appointment.

Let us note that Mr. Pavlyshyn was previously a deputy of the Rivne Regional Council from the Party of Regions and, according to journalists, supported him in every possible way, using his official position.

Moreover, there is information in open sources that during the Revolution of Dignity, Pavlyshyn , through dummies, sent entire busloads of “titushki” to Kiev for the Anti-Maidan - among them were nuclear power plant workers who were listed as working during a business trip at that time. place and received a salary, these buses, by the way, were on the balance sheet of the nuclear power plant and burned down during the confrontations.

But what is most worrying is that a serious position was taken by a man who has a real murderer in his family, who never received his punishment for what he committed.

Let us recall that in June 2022, StopKor reported that a pensioner was beaten to death at the White Lake recreation center. Then the incident acquired an extraordinary public resonance, because the son of an influential person in the region - the then director of the Rivne NPP Pavel Pavlishin - Evgeniy was accused The pensioner made a “major” remark, and he responded by attacking her and actually kicking her .

Thanks to publicity, the case was not put on hold, and its materials were sent to court. However, there is still no verdict, and the articles for the “major” have been softened.

It is interesting that then Pavlyshyn himself stated that his son was an adult and should be responsible for his actions, and later the deputies of the Varas City Council elected him first deputy mayor.

The lawyer of the injured party, Alexander Vasilenko during a press conference in Kiev that in general the investigation into the Pavlyshyn case is moving very slowly.

The daughter of the murdered Tamara Leus, Alexandra Gonchar, made a statement (June 18, 2023), in which she noted that during this year the injured party managed to achieve investigative actions under the control of the highest authorities of Ukraine and three forensic medical examinations, the conclusions of which, by the way, have many disagreements (according to Gonchar , perhaps the disagreements are related to the insufficient competence of certain experts, but there are probably other reasons for their occurrence).

“We have been fighting for a fair punishment for the criminal for a whole year now. For now, we are trying to get our case transferred from the local Vladimiretsky court (over which the criminal’s family has some influence) to a court in another region, in order to ensure an impartial consideration of the case. But it’s obvious that someone really doesn’t want this case to “go beyond the influence of the Pavlishin family,” so the judge of the Vladimiretsky court, Kotik L.A., for the third time refuses to challenge us judge Ivankov A.V. ,” wrote Alexandra .

And although the appointment itself took place last year, it was almost not reported in the media, and yet his son’s case is already a year and a half old, and there is still no verdict. The only change is that the article was softened to “intentional moderate bodily harm and hooliganism.”

It should also be recalled that, according to court registers, the son of the ex-director of the Rivne NPP, Evgeniy Pavlyshyn,  is involved in 140 criminal cases. But they were all closed at one time. Human rights activists suggest: the key to this riddle lies in the influential figure of Father Evgeniy , who, probably, has already exonerated his descendant from justice more than once.

And now, a man who has been accused more than once of covering up a murderer, who is his son, has been holding the position of first deputy city mayor for a year now and runs the city at his own discretion, not allowing the family of the deceased to win a fair punishment for his murderer-son Evgeny Pavlishin .

As reported , the High Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention and the possibility of posting a bail of 4 million UAH for the last of four judges of the Kiev Court of Appeal suspected of receiving 35 thousand dollars in illegal benefits. His colleagues also received preliminary punishment in the form of detention.
