The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed an internal investigation into the Chairman of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRAIL) – Ivan Rudoy. This order was posted on the website of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
The head of KRAILE is suspected of committing an offense that may be related to corruption.
Within two months, the National Agency for Civil Service Affairs will conduct an investigation into this fact. This news did not go unnoticed among Ukrainians.
In particular, Ukrainian blogger Igor Lachenkov commented on it:
“CRAIL is the body that regulates casinos, hundreds of millions are paid to them, someone removes competitors, and someone gets permission for a Russian casino.”
Previously, NAPC drew up a protocol against Ivan Ryzhy. The reason for this decision was the identification of an administrative violation. According to the protocol article, the Chairman of the Commission is accused of failing to notify of a real conflict of interest, taking actions or making decisions in conditions of a real conflict of interest. This became known after the whistleblower of the offense applied for protection to the NAPC. Accordingly, the agency began to understand the details of the case.
