The property of the former head of the Rivne regional territorial center for recruitment and social support was transferred by the court to the National Agency for Identification of Assets (ARMA). This man is suspected of illegal enrichment and attack on a soldier.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
The value of the property is estimated at 51 million 700 thousand hryvnia. This is about:
- plot of land in the village of Polyanytsya, Ivano-Frankivsk region with a residential building with an area of 280 sq. meters;
- 7 houses with a total area of almost 500 sq. m. meters at the same ski resort;
- plot of land in the village of Lanchin, Ivano-Frankivsk region, with an area of about half a hectare and a house of 316 sq. meters;
- two trucks.
Illegal enrichment and beating of a soldier
The investigation began back in July 2023 due to the beating of a soldier , who, for his part, threatened the ex-head of the TCC to expose his criminal activities. The SBI identified a lot of real estate and vehicles that were registered to distant relatives of the official.
In July, the military commissar was arrested by the court without the possibility of bail .
The former head of the Rivne regional TCC is suspected of using violence against a subordinate and robbery.
At the end of October 2023, he was informed of suspicion that a person authorized to perform state functions had acquired assets the value of which exceeded his legal income
“The head of the Rivne regional TCC and joint venture is in custody without the possibility of bail. Each time after the extension of the preventive measure, the suspect’s lawyer tries to appeal the court’s decision,” the press service adds.
The military commissar faces up to 12 years in prison.
