Some very interesting news has come from sunny Italy. Here, financial police seized assets worth 41 million euros from a Russian businessman. It is known that local law enforcement officers carried out such actions at the request of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine (SAP).
This became known thanks to a report by the local publication Corriere Fiorentino
According to the publication, we are talking about 68-year-old oligarch from Russia Alexei Fedorychev, who lives in Monte Carlo.
He is said to be one of the richest people in the world, with a background in commodities trading, port ownership, sports team sponsorship, and investment in the chemical and fertilizer sectors.
Also, the authors of the Telegram channel “All moves are recorded” have already responded to this news, where they publish compromising evidence on famous officials, politicians and businessmen.
“The Florence prosecutor’s office said that it had seized Fedorychev’s property worth €41 million in connection with the investigation and at the request of the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office. A businessman living in Monaco invested money stolen in Ukraine in real estate in Tuscany, including the 12th-century castle of Torre del Gallo in Florence,” write the authors of the channel.
Several cases have been brought against him in Ukraine. In particular, regarding corruption and fraud with a company engaged in trading agricultural products in the amount of more than $60 million, as well as money laundering.
Also, the authoritative publication La Repubblica reports that the Russian reinvested part of the illegally obtained funds and received, through a trust company, ownership of the entire capital of a company that owns a “large luxury real estate complex” in Florence worth 3 million euros.
Also under arrest were four more properties worth about 38 million.
