The seized armored Mercedes-Benz S500 4 Matic, owned by Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of high treason and one of the former leaders of the banned pro-Russian party OPZZH, was put on the wanted list.
This is stated in the response of the Office of the Prosecutor General to the request of the Schemes project.
“By order of the investigative judge of the Lychakivsky District Court of Lvov, the property of suspect M. was seized, including a Mercedes-Benz S500 4 Matic car manufactured in 2014, license plate AA1937ОI, about which the relevant information was entered into the State Register of Traffic Encumbrances.
The specified car was put on the wanted list in accordance with the investigator's resolution.
Currently, his whereabouts are unknown,” they noted in a response to reporters. Schemes also contacted the DBI, whose investigators conducted a pre-trial investigation into Medvedchuk’s case, with questions about Medvedchuk’s car.
The department refused to provide any information, citing the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation.
