Former deputy Alexander Katsuba left for Poland after the start of the invasion and did not return to Ukraine.
Former deputy, deputy chairman of the board and member of the board of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, Alexander Katsuba, after the start of the invasion, probably crossed the border through the Shlyakh system and did not return to Ukraine.
This was reported in the media with reference to information from the State Border Guard Service.
Investigators write that on July 6, 2022, a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLE 350D with license plates KI0001RI crossed the Ugrinov checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border. The combination of numbers 0001 is called the “family numbers” of the Katsub family.
During the investigation, journalists found that on that day, older brother Sergei Katsuba went abroad in a Mercedes-Benz GLE 350D, but he did not return to Ukraine.
“The 44-year-old ex-people’s deputy managed to leave because the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure had previously entered his personal data into the Shlyakh system as a driver-carrier of humanitarian goods,” the investigation says.
