Another nuclear unit came out of repair two weeks earlier

Another nuclear unit of one of the nuclear power plants with a capacity of 1000 MW came out of repair more than two weeks earlier than planned. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

It is noted that currently the electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is quite sufficient to cover the needs of consumers. Over the past 24 hours during the day, restrictions on the production of renewable energy sources have been applied for an hour.

A large-scale repair campaign is also ongoing at generation facilities - thermal, hydro and nuclear. Thus, more than two weeks earlier than planned, another nuclear unit of one of the nuclear power plants with a capacity of 1000 MW came out of repair.

In addition, hostile terror continues in the front-line and border regions with the Russian Federation. In the Zaporozhye region, after shelling, a 35 kV overhead line was damaged and two 35 kV substations were de-energized. Inspection and repairs will be possible with the permission of the military.

During the day, power engineers healed about 5 thousand subscribers who had lost power supply due to previously damaged lines.

“In the Donetsk region, two 35 kV overhead lines were switched off due to shelling, which led to the loss of power to 10.5 thousand consumers in 22 settlements. The subscribers have been partially healed, repair work is being carried out with the permission of the military,” the message says.

It is added that some consumers in the Kharkov, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain de-energized.
