Electricity has been cut off in some sections of the railway.
Passenger trains have been stopped in Western Georgia due to bad weather.
The CFTS writes about this with reference to News Georgia.
Some sections of the railway are without power.
“Everything possible is being done to resume traffic without disruption. Trains will run as soon as the power supply to the contact network is restored,” the railway said.
It is noted that difficult meteorological conditions will remain in Georgia until the afternoon of December 26: in a number of areas snowfall, strong winds, fog, blizzards, sleet, ice on power lines. Avalanche danger in high mountain areas, strong storm at sea up to 6 points.
