The searches of the former deputy head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Natalya Ruban, carried out last week by NABU detectives in the case of abuse of power, did not in any way affect the property situation of her family.
An elite vehicle fleet, which consists exclusively of new Mercedes, several plots of land, residential buildings in cottage estates near Kiev, apartments in business complexes in Kiev, savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars and real income of several hundred thousand hryvnia from rent alone, confirm the status of the official.
And Ruban Natalya Ivanovna has a significant pension “for merit”, bank accounts and payments for teaching activities.
Meanwhile, NABU conducted searches at some of the defendants in the case (lawyer of Decoplus LLC Vasily Bartko), where mobile phones with correspondence were seized, which indicates abuse of official position of Natalya Ruban in the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (headed by Alexey Lyubchenko).
Ruban helped Kyiv developers resolve the issue of inspections and evade taxes.
They thanked her to Decoplus LLC through her son-in-law, Sergei Nedilko, who in 2019-2020 became the owner of several parking spaces in the French Boulevard-2 residential complex for UAH 7 million.
The trick is that literally a week later these parking spaces were sold by the son-in-law at the market price - for 31.6 million UAH.
It is also worth adding to Mrs. Ruban’s declaration the funds found in her son-in-law’s safe: $535 thousand; 95 thousand euros, gold, coins and stones. Son-in-law Nedilko also in 2021 became the owner of non-residential premises worth UAH 5.5 million, and his wife (daughter Ruban) received property rights in the Signature Residence residential complex worth more than UAH 17 million.
Under these circumstances, there is no direct supporting evidence indicating Ruban’s participation in this process (except for correspondence), so the end of the story is quite obvious - the son-in-law’s apartment may change its owner.
