This time, our dear readers will find out how Odessa Tkachenko and Vavrish, whom local bloggers call “looters,” are finally finishing off the film production industry in Odessa “Odessa Film Industry”. There is also a story about how 6.6 hectares of land on French Boulevard “suspended”.
Here is what the blogger says in his publication:
Let me start from the end, during the “management” of former Minister of Culture Tkachenko and Kyiv developer Vavrish, dubious and risky operations worth 410 million hryvnia were carried out at the Odessa film studio.
And now in more detail. In 2020, Ukraine, due to the negligence of the Ministry of Culture, lost control over the Odessa Film Studio, which became the actual property of the people's deputy from the Servant of the People and former Minister of Culture Alexander Tkachenko and the famous Kyiv developer Andrey Vavrish. From this period, Odessa Film Studio was unprofitable.
Vavrish and Tkachenko deliberately did not hold shareholder meetings in order to somehow stabilize the situation. But the situation could have been stabilized. For example, copyrights for the use of national cultural heritage and state property of Ukraine were not transferred to the Film Fund of the State Enterprise “Odessa Film Studio of Feature Films” created in the period from 1955 to 1991. We are talking about 269 films. Such as: “D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers”, “The Adventures of Electronics”, “The meeting place cannot be changed”. To understand, the Odessa Film Studio did not receive almost 13 million hryvnia from copyright alone.
Odessa Film Studio lost 5.5 million in fines, penalties and court decisions. By the way, 4.8 million of this money went to Tkachenko. But most importantly, the looters Vavrish and Tkachenko did not register property rights to the land of the Odessa Film Studio. We are talking about an attempt to steal 6.6222 hectares of land on French Boulevard. The initial cost of the land is almost 62 million hryvnia.
