In the spotlight

KSCA is actively trying to renew its vehicle fleet for 10 million UAH: choosing between budget and style

Since the beginning of 2024, the CP, which maintains the KSCA vehicle fleet, has not lost activity in terms of procurement. In total, during this time, four large tenders were held in the amount of UAH 10.1 million. And although not all of them were completed, each still has a chance to be brought to life.

The process of selecting suppliers for spare parts is quite interesting. Four tenders were published on the Prozorro platform, each of which exceeded the amount of two million hryvnia.

A recent tender dated March 6 involved the purchase of spare parts for a total amount of UAH 3.8 million. Despite the fact that the majority of participants offered prices above 3 million, Tekhavtotsentr LLC won, offering only 2.6 million UAH.

On March 5, another tender was announced for the purchase of spare parts for UAH 3.5 million. Here the situation is repeated: the most advantageous offer from Novaton Ukraine Trading House LLC is UAH 2.4 million.

Individual entrepreneur Viktor Petrovich Zhabinets was the only participant in two more tenders. The first one was cancelled, but after the entrepreneur’s complaint they were accepted again. Both tenders are now in the “winner qualification” stage.

As for the KSCA vehicle fleet itself, here you can see a real mix from affordable models like the Hyundai H1 or Fiat Doblo to expensive and prestigious SUVs like the Toyota Highlander and Mercedes-Benz.

As of the middle of last year, there were 109 units of equipment in the KSCA vehicle fleet. In it you could see both long-serving cars with a mileage of up to 700 thousand km, and completely new models.

The general list includes both practical models for household use, such as the Hyundai H1 and Fiat Doblo, as well as luxury cars for executives.

It is interesting to note that last year the Kyiv City State Administration tried to purchase 17 new cars for UAH 20 million, which caused a wide outcry in society and eventually the tender was cancelled. However, it is not clear why the Kyiv City State Administration is ready to spend so much money on simple spare parts for cars.
