The Kiev Metro ordered repairs of the Red Line for UAH 1.5 billion from a relative of the business partner of the ex-head of the metro Braginsky

People's Artist of Ukraine Tatyana Beletskaya, whose company received a contract in December 2022, teaches at the National Opera of Ukraine and heads the classical choreography department at the Kyiv Municipal Dance Academy.

According to journalists, Beletskaya is “most likely” the mother-in-law of Braginsky’s long-time colleague and business partner, Kirill Krivets.

The contract was classified. But journalists found signs that contract prices may be significantly inflated. For just one batch of 7 km of cable, the metro could have overpaid about UAH 15.7 million.
