The Kiev Court of Appeal postponed the consideration of the appeal against the detention of Valery Kolomoisky to September 25.
According to the judge, the case materials have not yet been received by the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv.
The oligarch himself was not brought to the hearing, and his lawyer said that, despite the postponement of the hearing, Kolomoisky does not plan to post bail.
Earlier, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in the form of detention for two months with the possibility of posting bail of more than 500 million hryvnia. He is suspected of fraud and money laundering. According to the investigation, during 2013-2020, Kolomoisky withdrew half a billion hryvnia abroad using banking institutions controlled by him.
