NABU conducted a number of searches of persons associated with the head of Naftogaz, Alexey Chernyshev.
NABU and SAPO conducted a search of persons who, according to the investigation, are associated with the head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Alexey Chernyshov.
The events are related to one of the cases of the already dismissed Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov, when the developer Sergei Kopystyra (KSM Group) tried to bribe him for not terminating the contracts that provided his company with the opportunity to develop land in Kyiv. We were talking about a plot of land near the Syretsky arboretum and the Rogozovsky ravine, which during the time Chernyshev headed the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of the State Enterprise “Ukrkommunobsluzhivanie” was “transferred” to Citigazservice LLC for use. Kopystyra planned to build a residential complex at 43 Tiraspolskaya Street and provide Kubrakov with undue benefits in the form of apartments.
The investigation decided to find out exactly how this site was transferred to the use of Citigazservice LLC during the management of Chernyshov’s Ministry of Regional Development. Searches were conducted at the home of Naftogaz board member Vasily Volodin (who was the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Regional Development); Director for Commercial Affairs of UkrGasVydobuvannya JSC Maxim Gorbatyuk (connected with Chernyshov); three more people associated with Chernyshov and for whom apartments were registered from KSM Group and Chernyshov’s former advisor, ex-head of the Naftogaz personnel selection and adaptation group Marina Medvedeva.
Phones, flash drives, tablets were confiscated from them, on which there may be evidence of connection, correspondence on the circumstances of the case, and the like. For some, deleted messages were found in instant messengers, and examinations were ordered.
