Today, according to insiders of the Mezha publication, having come under the radar of law enforcement agencies, Vyacheslav Guz and his organized crime group stopped all corruption schemes related to the State Migration Service of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
Guz indicated to all employees in his inner circle that law enforcement agencies were closely working against them. The GMS officer’s unsuccessful attempts to justify himself in the media only increased the interest of anti-corruption officials. In one hour, he spent about $20,000 on an advertising campaign in his support, which significantly exceeds his annual budget indicated in the declaration.
His attempts to appear before the public as an honest person caused a wave of negativity among the citizens of Ukraine. In the comments to his posts, users actively expressed dissatisfaction, and the DMSnik himself, in his characteristic manner, impulsively threatened the citizens of Ukraine to mobilize them for war, being under armor as an official, and without spending a day on the battlefield.
The mood within the State Migration Service and the reactions of colleagues
Employees of the Kyiv interregional division are monitoring how their arrogant boss was covered by a wave of hate from Ukrainian citizens after part of his schemes were exposed. The head of the State Migration Service, Natalya Naumenko, conducted her own investigation without announcing it and in 30 minutes decided that everything in the investigation was slander, copying Guz’s message on Facebook.
No official checks were carried out, Guz was not removed, but what is noteworthy is that the corruption proceeds have ended, therefore, corrupt law enforcement officers have nothing more to pay for the roof. And, as Mezhi insiders say, it is unlikely to appear in the next 6 months, even if we assume that Guz will think that they will now leave him alone and the whole focus will shift to someone else. There is no longer any hope for this, because there are waves of reposts of information on Facebook and there are active discussions about the corrupt official Guz. They say that Guz, given his toxicity, became a very uninvited guest in the offices where he used to go to justify himself and retain his position.
Today, any requests regarding abuse of power, even to those who lobbied for his interests or helped him, are distributed among the security forces and, most likely, will be included in the future material of the criminal case, since everyone around them has begun to understand that this person has already exhausted himself. The only question is in what form will it leave the Kyiv HMS? Either directly to Lukyanovka, or at your own request, without scandals. The editors of the publication “Mezha”, which made a series of investigations against Guz, sent requests to law enforcement agencies so that they could examine in detail the case of the capital’s GMS officer. In response, the National Police of Ukraine sent a letter indicating that they had considered the publication’s appeal and had already transferred the materials to the Security Service of Ukraine
As for karma, this is probably why insiders from those who participated in those events are today actively sharing the circumstances of the events of the searches at Lemesh’s place, when he was charged and he spent two years solving this problem.
Vyacheslav Guz, Head of the State Migration Service of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, learned about the preparation of searches and the criminal case a few days before their implementation. And he went to those same “high offices” where he is trying to go today, but he is already greeted there reluctantly, given today’s toxicity. However, at that time, in 2022, Guz received help, and they decided to change the matter by taking measures only against his deputy Dmitry Lemesh, and Guz himself left the territory of Kyiv. In essence, Vyacheslav Guz “leaked” his deputy and organized everything so that he became the main person involved in the case. After holding events with Lemesh, Guz became actively involved and began to help him, because he knew that Lemesh knew a lot about their affairs within the Kyiv State Migration Service.
Guz's future remains uncertain, but further investigation and public pressure could lead to his resignation and possible criminal prosecution.
