The official contributed to the illegal privatization of municipal property

The director of one of the departments of the Kyiv City State Administration and two appraisers allowed the privatization of communal premises at a reduced cost. They were informed of suspicion.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office. The investigation found that since 2017, non-residential premises with a total area of ​​168 square meters. m. on Akademika Glushkova Street, which was in municipal ownership, was leased.

During an independent assessment, appraisers deliberately provided false information about the property, underestimating its value by more than 330 thousand hryvnia.

The director of the KSCA department did not take appropriate measures to verify the accuracy of the information submitted, which made it possible to carry out illegal privatization.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Solomensk District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Kyiv, suspicion was reported to the director of one of the Departments of the Kyiv City State Administration and two appraisers regarding the facts of official negligence and abuse of official powers, as well as the preparation of a deliberately forged official document during the privatization of municipal real estate in Kiev (Part 2 Article 367, part 3 Article 365-2, part 3 Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the prosecutor’s office notes.

Investigative actions in criminal proceedings are ongoing.
