The court chose preventive measures for three accomplices of the Minister of Agricultural Policy Nikolai Solsky
Judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) chose preventive measures against three more suspects in the case of land acquisition in the Sumy region.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP).
We are talking about suspects in the case of the seizure of land in the Sumy region with an area of about 2.5 thousand hectares worth 291 million hryvnia and attempts to seize land with an area of about 3.3 thousand hectares worth 190 million hryvnia.
According to the judges' decision:
The High Anti-Corruption Court refused to arrest the defendant Oleg Darienko, whom NABU and SAPO suspect of involvement in the case of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky about the seizure of land in the Sumy region worth UAH 291 million.
The NABU detective and the SAPO prosecutor asked to take Darienko into custody with an alternative of UAH 15 million bail.
Let us remind you that NABU and SAPO reported suspicion to the Minister of Agricultural Policy Nikolai Solsky, his deputy and other persons involved. According to investigators, participants in the scheme ensured the destruction of documents on the basis of which two state-owned enterprises in the Sumy region had the right to permanent use of land. Due to their absence, the regional State GeoCadastre drew up an act on the unauthorized occupation of these areas.
Subsequently, with the help of controlled officials of the regional State GeoCadastre, the plots were transferred into the ownership of predetermined citizens under the guise of exercising their right to free land. At the same time, the condition for obtaining ownership of the land was the signing of an agreement on its lease to a private agricultural holding even before receipt.
As a result of the implementation of the transaction in 2017-2021. participants in the scheme took possession of 1,250 land plots with a total area of 2,493 hectares, the value of which at the time of the crime was more than UAH 291 million. They also attempted to take possession of 3,282 hectares of land worth about UAH 190 million, but they were prevented by NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors, who conducted searches and seized the plots.
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Nikolai Solsky, Markiyan Dmitrasevich, left Ukraine and has not returned yet. Dmitrasevich left the territory of Ukraine on April 13 of this year.
“Dmitrasevich left the territory of Ukraine on April 13 of this year and is currently outside its borders. We became aware of this yesterday when we arrived at his place to present the suspicion. Also, during the pre-trial investigation, it was established that Dmitrasevich is a person who has been working with Solsky for quite a long time, constantly follows his instructions, and in fact he is an accomplice in this criminal proceeding,” the prosecutor said during the court hearing.
