The Swiss cryptocurrency bank SEBA has completed the rebranding process and now operates under a new name - AMINA Bank AG. The press release notes that this decision symbolizes the onset of a new stage in the company's history.
“AMINA is a brand based on constant change, bringing together the various “connections” of traditional, digital and cryptocurrency banking […]. This vision of change represents a transformation of the financial future of our clients,” the company emphasized.
Its representatives added that the rebranding will not affect operations. The Abu Dhabi branch and subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Singapore must apply for a name change to match the name of the Zug headquarters.
The crypto bank previously received in-principle approval from the SFC to carry out digital asset-related activities in Hong Kong.
Let us recall that at the beginning of 2022, SEBA closed a Series C financing round CHF 110 million (~$120 million). It was led by Altive, Ordway Selections, Summer Capital and DeFi Technologies.
