Have any of you ever thought about how many service dogs work (yes, they actually work) in Ukraine?!
They are in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. They work in the police, in the State Emergency Service, in the penitentiary system and many other places. Searching for people under rubble, clearing mines, searching for drugs and weapons, protecting territories and many other tasks that they perform to protect you and me. There are actually thousands of such dogs.
And what do they get from us in return?
The entire Internet was covered with information about a military man who was traveling by Intercity train from Ukrzaliznytsia in the vestibule with a service dog. The fact is that he was not allowed to travel comfortably in the carriage for two reasons. First, the ticket for the dog was not purchased (of course, someone will compensate him for the dog tickets later); secondly, you cannot travel on a train with such a dog (you can only travel in a compartment with all 4 seats fully purchased, but in the Intercity there are only seats). And everything would look logical if it weren’t for but….
Ukrzaliznytsia – wouldn’t you go on foot with your own rules?!!!!!
The head of this “wonderful” structure stated that the conductors actually behaved well, took pity on the military man and did not kick him out of the train. Or maybe it’s time to change your old, idiotic rules????
During the war, you should be ashamed of such behavior. These are not isolated cases. Doesn’t a person who saves our lives every day have the right to travel with a service dog under normal conditions!!!
Someone will say that dogs have no place on the train because they are dirty? Remember who will look for you under the rubble and suddenly arrive!
Who can say that he has an allergy? Again, remember who will find you under the rubble. I myself am an allergy sufferer and I will say that all adequate people suffering from allergies carry medications with them. Therefore, there is no need to come up with these excuses.
Who will say: “I am a mother and I have a child”! Remember who will look for your children under the rubble! You know very well and can explain to your children that service animals are well trained, and without a command they will not do anything to anyone.
We animal rights activists, like all people who love animals, constantly have to fight for any rights for animals. Well, how long can this continue?!!!!! We constantly remind our society that animals are living beings and they have rights. Learn to live with them. And if you see such situations, please stand up for animal rights and help those who need it.
