The director of the department of state executive service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Maxim Kiselev, began to receive a significant salary from the beginning of 2024, which exceeds half a million hryvnia monthly.
In his declaration you can see income for different months: 557,435 UAH in January, 651,827 UAH in February, 650,164 UAH in March and another 526,951 UAH in May. This stands out against the background of the more modest salary of the Minister of Justice, Denis Malyuska, who receives about 100 thousand UAH per month.
In 2023, Kiselyov earned almost 5 million hryvnia in the civil service, which is an average of about 430 thousand UAH per month. However, according to current declarations, his income in 2024 has increased significantly.
In addition, his annual declaration for 2023 shows that during the war he expanded his fleet with two luxury cars: the AUDI E-TRON GT and the BMW 120, released in 2022. He claims to rent them from third parties.
Kiselev also attracted attention with a “cryptocurrency scandal” when he reported to the cyber police that 647,063 USDT had disappeared from his crypto wallet.
Subsequently, speculation arose about a possible imitation of this crime on the part of Kiselyov himself, but the final outcome of this story remains unknown.
