Bezugla's departure from the faction cannot lead to the drawing up of a deputy mandate.
The head of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak, approved the request of People's Deputy Maryana Bezugla to leave the political force.
People's Deputy Bezuglaya reported this on Facebook.
“All my attempts to prove that the party needs to get out of the green clouds of 2019, change its format, positioning, declassify data on warring party members (and there are many of them), pay attention to the ideological component and the risks of regional collaboration, corruption, etc. - all was ignored. my fight with Tishchenko is a separate story,” the people’s deputy noted.
As Bezuglaya said, “almost nothing happens in the party.”
“Everyone is on their own, and no matter how hard Elena Shulyak polishes the picture, it won’t help matters. Because it’s throwing confetti in your face, covering up the emptiness... Still, I think “Servant of the People” is not a terrible game. There are many normal managers working here, and there are hundreds of interesting people among the party members. A lot could be developed. And Shulyak is not hopeless. But the patria now exists out of inertia and without the desire of the leadership to develop. People in the regions also feel this, which does not contribute to positive dynamics,” she said.
The People's Deputy says that the parties that enter the Verkhovna Rada are always “one-time leadership projects, plans.”
“Then circumstances change, the gaskets are repainted for the same leaders/sponsors in a different style, and the semi-finished product goes through another political cycle... Tymoshenko, Yanukovych, Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk, Sadovyi, Zelensky, Vakarchuk...”
We are a democracy, albeit a wild one, such paths are chosen in response to the request of society to vote for messiahs who will lead by the hand, and not by ideas and institutions. Society wants and supports this... “Servant of the People” is the same rake. And if the President, in my opinion, having faced such difficult circumstances during his term as stagnation, epidemic and war, grew out of himself like 2019, then the party remained somewhere in the inertial past,” the people’s deputy emphasized.
Bezuglaya also mentioned in her message about the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny.
“I don’t know whether we will eventually move from messiahs and folders to social democrats, liberals, conservatives and the like... To ideologies, rules and multiple political communities... I look at “god Zaluzhny”, it becomes sad. Although I see light at the end of the tunnel,” she added.
We would like to remind you that a resolution was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada to recall People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
The resolution was registered in parliament on Saturday, January 6. The final decision must be made by the Council by its vote.
In turn, Bezuglaya wrote a statement of resignation from the party and the Servant of the People faction.
People's deputies from the Servant of the People are outraged by the statements of their fellow party member Maryana Bezugla that the military leadership of Ukraine “must leave,” because the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny allegedly “failed to provide a plan for 2024.”
