Now the application of the people's choice will not be considered if, before the preliminary business trip, he has not received “theses” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for his official statements and comments in the international arena.

The publication notes that it has at its disposal a document signed by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk at the end of 2023. Thus, it is said that from January 1, 2024, the statement of a people’s deputy regarding a business trip abroad may not be considered if, during the preliminary departure, the people’s deputy did not receive “clarifications from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the foreign policy course of Ukraine or the theses of official statements or comments of the people’s deputy approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before the start of the business trip.” on the implementation of state policy in the field of external relations on issues related to the topic of business trips abroad.”

In addition, if last time the people's choice violated the period of stay on a business trip , independently changed the country, was in others, or did not submit a report upon return, his application may also not be considered.

It should be noted that the document contains a list of persons who must approve the people’s deputy’s application to leave .
